Mike has been in the transmission repair industry for over 28 years. He has a very extensive knowlege of how transmissions work both hydralically and electrically. He opened Gears Transmission in Lehi in 1995. He stays current with todays vehicle technology buy attending schools, seminars and reading. He is one of Utah's best transmission mechanics. Mike has been an ASE Master Technician and certified by ATRA. He is currently a member of The Mopar Club of Utah. In his spare time he enjoys frequenting local car shows and has rebuilt many of the transmissions in the classics that attend.
Kevin Carlson

Manager
Kevin has been in the transmission business for over 30 years. He is very knowledgable on how transmissions work because of the many years spent rebuilding them. He will take the time with you and answer any questions you may have about your vehicle or repair. Kevin is a very hard working, honest person that cares that the job is done right and in a timely manner. Gears Transmission is very proud to have a team member like Kevin on board!
Jered Downing

Jered has been with Gears for 8 years. He had quite a bit of automotive knowledge before he started with us and has really excelled in what he does. He takes the time to do a great job on every vehicle he works on and has a sense of pride as if they were all his own. He is now ATRA and ASE Certified in transmission repair. Jered is a very hard worker and we are glad to have him as part of our team.
Wes Carlson

Wes has over 20 years of experience in the transmission industry. He has been with Gears for 6 years. Wes is very hard working, detail oriented and pays special attention to todays complex transmissions. He not only rebuilds but will assist in diagnosis and other repairs. He is ATRA and ASE Certified. Wes is a dependable employee and we are glad he is with Gears.
Tom Shelley

Shop Technician
Tom has been with Gears for 7 years. Tom keeps an eye on our inventory and stays on top of what needs to be done around the shop. If he's not running parts or taking customers home he's stocking parts or servicing transmissions. We keep a smooth running shop because of all the things Tom does. We are glad he is a part of the Gears team.

Adam has been a part of the transmission industry for most of his life. We were lucky that he became available so we could add such an important asset to our business. He knows today's complex vehicles and can diagnose along with repairing all aspects of a car.
Karen McCoy

Karen has always had an interest in cars. Her and Mike have been a team for over 26 years so she has had a chance to learn quite a bit about cars and transmissions. Having come from a family of accountants she does her best to keep everything in balance from the office to the front counter.
